Race Results for Joseph James verses Jim Dunn

This seems to be the story of the week. After all that Jim Dunn has put us through for the last 10 years he is now refusing to concede to Joseph James despite his numbers being so low in the primary.

Every other race seems to have been decided the night of the 19th. But Dunn is still holding out, thinking that the late mailed in ballots will still give him a chance. I have to agree with him. We've seen stranger things happen, so we really should not declare a winner until all of the ballots are counted. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Tim Probst Another Politician We Can't Trust

I received a flyer from the Tim Probst campaign painting himself as a moderate--someone Republicans could get behind. However, this is simply not the case. The June 04, 2008 Columbian article states Tim Probst is "a Democratic Party activist".

This insults the intelligents of readers, we all know that Democrat activists are opposed to Republican values. He also insults readers by stating in the June 08, 2008 Columbian that he is against "devisive politics", yet in the same paragraph he jabs his opponents.

“I’m against divisive politics,” he said. “That’s one reason I’m running. I believe in being effective and getting results. Neither of the other candidates can point to a record of getting results.”

And then the final kicker--

Probst said he has no desire to attack Dunn directly.

What did he just do by that last statement--he lied...he just attacked Jim Dunn directly.
Jim Dunn has been in the legislature for 10 years blocking bad legislation, sponsoring bills, voting on various bills and hosting community forums, etc...
This statement shows the arrogrance of Tim Probst.

What a classic politician! I'm sick of politicians attacking other politicians! Any politician who speaks out of both sides of their mouth has lost my vote!

This is the same tactic that other Democrats have used in Republican districts, they act like a Republican, talk like a Republican, but when elected return to their liberal ideals. It is how they vote that will count. So many politicians vote with their party--so how can we trust this man who claims to be a moderate and a Democratic activist. This is the same tactic Barrack Obama is using--he was liberal to begin with, but now needs to capture the independent vote to win so he is talking the talk. Hopefully our society has grown too wise to fall for such games.

Whistle blown on Jim Dunn

From http://www.clarkblog.org/vBulletin/showthread.php?t=2475

Originally from http://whatcomforum.blogspot.com/

It's no secret that I'm fed up with Rep. Jim Dunn's past behavior towards me and other legislative staff. And, yes, I'm still upset that former House Leadership allowed Rep. Dunn to abuse me and chase me away from a job that I loved.Nevertheless, writers shouldn't be biased - and that statement also applies to bloggers. (Even upset blogger's who just received a death threat).I would like to thank State Representative Richard Debolt (Republican House Leader) for immediately calling for Rep. Dunn's resignation, after Dunn made an inappropriate comment to a Legislative staff member at a dinner in the Tri-Cities.In a November 5, 2007 letter, Debolt informed Dunn that he had asked the Speaker of the House to remove him from his position as the ranking member of the Housing Committee, and all standing, select and statutory committees.

**SCHNIPP**
This entry comes from a young lady up in Whatcom County who id a former Legislative Aide up in Olympia, and has personal experience being sexually harrassed by Jim Dunn. All I can say to her is that many of us here in Clark County want to be rid of Dunn at least as badly as she does, and are doing everything in our power to make that happen.Stout Hearts...
