Unemployment is at 7% high
Is it any wonder that unemployment in Washington has reached 7%, as the Columbian puts it " It was the highest jobless rate for July since 2004, when the county was emerging from the 2001-2003 recession".With the overburdomesome regulations placed on businesses in Clark County as well as the rest of Washington, it scares businesses away. Why would anyone want to open a business here with taxes out of control and red tape hurdles in the way. Why isn't anybody in Olympia concerned about this. I've only heard Dino Rossi speak out about this.
